How can I Reuse packaging?

Reusing packaging saves natural resources and reduces waste. Take a look at the tips below for ways that you can start reusing your packaging today.

  • Use refillable products Refills can reduce the amount of packaging used by 75% and can also save you money too. Many household washing detergents and cleaning products are available in refillable packaging.
  • Reuse packaging Reuse food containers for storing food and packed lunches. Margarine or ice cream tubs are great for home freezing. Metal chocolate or biscuit tins can be reused for food storage. Cardboard boxes can be used for storage or for parcels.
  • Use return schemes Buy milk from a local supplier in returnable glass bottles, instead of plastic bottles.
