Kerbside collections
Ceredigion offers kerbside recycling collections to around 29,000 households. Residents are offered a bag collection for paper, cardboard, cans, plastic.  For more information please contact Ceredigion County Council.

Bring bank sites
There are 50 bring bank sites in Ceredigion collecting a range of materials including paper, glass, cans, shoes, textiles, books and plastic bottles. For details of your nearest site visit our bank locator.

Garden waste
A garden waste collection service is available at a charge of 25 pence per bag.

Civic Amenity sites
Ceredigion has 5 civic amenity sites:

  • Tregaron Road, Lampeter,
  • Cilmaenllwyd, Penparc, Cardigan
  • Rhydeinon, Llanarth,
  • Glanyrafon Industrial Estate, Aberystwyth
  • Glan – Leri Common, Borth

Sites are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 3pm at weekends.  For more information please visit the Ceredigion County Council website.
