Kerbside collections

Cardiff runs a fortnightly green bag kerbside collection for paper, plastic bottles, cans, glass and textiles. For more information please contact Cardiff City Council.

Bring bank sites
There are 14 bring bank sites in Cardiff collecting a range of materials including paper, glass, cans, shoes, textiles, books and plastic bottles. For details of your nearest site visit our bank locator.

Green recycling bags: your last but one green bag should have a coloured sticker on it. Write your house number on it and display where it can be seen - when your next recycling collection is due, refuse collectors will know to give you a new stock. Green bags can also be picked up from all libraries and leisure centres in the city and many local shops. Check our website for the full list

White composting bags: you can reorder a new supply of white bags by emailing c2c@cardiff.gov.uk or by telephoning 029 2087 2087.
