Kerbside collections
Bridgend runs a blue plastic bag collection for paper. This is collected fortnightly or monthly depending on the area you live in.  Please contact Bridgend County Borough Council.

Bring bank sites
There are 21 bring bank sites in Bridgend collecting a range of materials including glass, paper, books and textiles.  For details of your nearest site visit our bank locator

Civic Amenity sites
Bridgend has 4 civic amenity sites:

  • Davies (Bros) Waste, Tythegston
  • Heol Ty Gwyn Industrial Estate, Maesteg
  • Brynmenyn Industrial Estate, Brynmenyn
  • Penllwyngwent Industrial Estate, Ogmore Vale

The sites are open
8.30am – 8pm Monday to Friday
8.30am – 6pm Saturdays and Sundays (April to September) 
8.30am – 4.30pm (October to March)

Please note Penllwyngwent is only open Friday to Monday between October and March.  All sites are closed on 25th & 26th December and 1st January.
