Reducing, reusing and recycling materials will make a real difference to the current and future environment… and its so easy!

The Welsh Assembly Government has funded Waste Awareness Wales since 2002 to provide official information to the public, via this website and other means, about managing materials and resources more sustainably, and reducing waste.

Help your packaging, papers, DIY goods, unwanted appliances / furniture and everything else you can think of be reused or recycled  – enter your post code below for listings near you.     

By finding out more and getting involved - recycling more and minimising the packaging you purchase, for example – you will be helping to save resources and increase the lifespan of materials. 

Find out what more you can do in the home, before you bin any materials (from your home or garden) - remember by composting at home you could reduce the materials you put out for collection by about a third!
