Kerbside collections
Carmarthenshire runs three kerbside collection services:
A pink bag scheme which collects cans, cardboard, paper and plastic, a brown bag scheme which collects food waste including fruit and veg peelings, plate scrapings and cooked food. In addition Carmarthenshire also has a blue box collection scheme for cans, cardboard, paper and plastics.  To find out which service operates in your area please contact Carmarthenshire County Council.

Civic Amenity sites
Carmarthenshire has 3 civic amenity sites:

  • Trostre, Llanelli
  • Nantycaws, Carmarthen
  • Wernddu, Ammanford
